Our new 2Simple ‘Learning Journey’ software is now up and running. We have chosen to introduce this gradually and at specific times to ensure that the children’s learning and development continues to be monitored in the best way, and that the team are proficient in the use of the new system. Children moving into a new room will be observed on the new 2Simple, electronic software. Your child’s current red ‘Learning Journey’ file will then be yours to keep at home. We will keep you informed of any specific changes for your child.

The new system requires practitioners to carry out observations on tablets rather than the existing paper format. The electronic format is very similar and nothing has changed regarding how we observe, evidence and monitor your child’s learning and interests. However, the software is a much more efficient and simpler method of observing and tracking.
